Hi, I'm Francesca, a writer, reader, and bookstore enthusiast. I studied English & creative writing at college in Los Angeles and at grad school in Dublin, worked at a leading literary agency in Manhattan, published my first novel in 2023, and have been yapping about books since I first learned to read. Each week, I introduce readers to a new bookshop and hand-deliver their bookseller recommendations.

In addition to being a cheerleader for independent bookstores, I'm the author of Trouble the Living, a novel about mothers and daughters, emigration, and the Troubles in Ireland. I live with my wife, Helena, and our dog, Lyra, in Brooklyn and host literary trivia events around the city.
